About Us

Colorectal surgery encompasses disease of the bowel that may require surgery including bowel cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and diverticular disease. While treatment and investigation options for bowel cancer are well established in Australasia, the same quality of care is not available in developing nations.

We are a Not-For-Profit Charity group registered in the New Zealand Charities Registry (CC63808) consisting of like-minded health care professionals with a special interest in Colorectal Surgery. Working full-time at our respective hospitals in Australia and New Zealand, in our spare time, we have a unified vision to improve colorectal care in under-resourced communities.

We strive to help communities such as Fiji and Sri Lanka by donating essential medical equipment, volunteer missions, providing education to local health care workers and patients and providing colorectal expertise and surgical assistance for complex colorectal patients.

We envision improving the healthcare of pacific nations and other under-resourced communities in the world.
